A Course In Miracles Study Group
Monday Evenings 6:45-8:00 PM facilitated by Jim & Kay Fuller The study group meets each Monday from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. The first 10 minutes is a time for silent meditation focusing on a workbook lesson or reading from the Course. We begin reading about 7:10. We use the “Complete and Annotated edition of ACIM” published by the Circle of Atonement which contains all the materials found in the familiar “blue books” plus additional original text omitted from that edition. We find it more personal, compelling, and easier to engage, particularly in the earlier chapters. Use the BUTTON BELOW to learn more about this “Complete Edition”. You can also download the Circle of Atonement APP which allows you to read, search and highlight the entire edition. The printed book is available from Amazon.com. |

The "Complete Annotated Edition" of A Course In Miracles, from Circle of Atonement.
Well, it has finally happened. Someone released Helen Schucman's original handwritten notes for ACIM and Robert Perry and friends at the Circle of Atonement have carefully and lovingly published them. While this remains the same Course teaching as the familiar blue books published by Foundation for Inner Peace this new edition does include some previously unpublished words from Jesus along with specific instructions and comments to Bill and Helen (the scribes), many of which seem very applicable to everyone. It also restores some original wording and text ordering that had been edited or deleted by Helen in an apparent reaction/resistance to teachings which she often found challenging or startling.
In her autobiography (Absence From Felicity) Helen commented that she wanted to change just about everything about the Course. No surprise here as ego-wise Helen was known as a rather sharp and controlling individual and a compulsive over-editor of her own research and professional writings.
The overall teaching remains identical to the previous editions and most changes appear in the first 4-10 chapters. The Workbook for Students and Manual for Teachers have few updates. That said, as a long-time Course student I found numerous insights and helpful clarifications. Thank you Circle of Atonement for this helpful new edition.
